We are Chris and Amy Hales. We both grew up in Oklahoma and have been involved in ministry most of our lives. We met in September of 1999, married in March of 2000 and have been on an adventure ever since.
Following Christ has taken us to places that we never would have dreamed of. Over 10 years ago, we said yes to God to move our family of four to Prague to start Heart Prague International Church. Although we went through some difficult years, God made a way and the church began in October 2016.
In December 2020, we transitioned Heart Prague to Czech pastors. During the next two years, we helped start more churches in Czech. Now, we believe that God has another assignment for our family.
In the summer of 2024, we will follow His leading to Liverpool, UK. The first part of our vision is to start a new church in that city. There are 2 million people that live in close proximity to Liverpool, with 500,000 living in the city. The need for new churches is great.
We have a heart for the nations, so the greater vision is to continue to plant churches in England and throughout Europe and help support those who have the same vision.
Our desire is to give more people the opportunity to hear the Gospel and make an informed decision about Christ. Not only to make a decision about Christ, but also, to have a local Christian church family to belong to.
There are millions of reasons to love Europe. Yes, there are beautiful things to see, cafes to enjoy, places to explore, but there are greater reasons than these. Each of these reasons has a real name and real need for Jesus. They are not just a number. May we continue to go and/or send until all have heard.
